US Senate hears a dim forecast for newspapers

Watch out America the media is the next thing that the Obama administration is going to take over. The U.S. Government pretty much owns the transportation sector, and they are well on their way of owning energy and the media. I can hear it now "These Newspapers and T.V. stations are too big to fail."
Listen to Senator Kerry (who served in Vietnam by the way) in this article: "As a means of conveying news in a timely way, paper and ink have become obsolete, eclipsed by the power, efficiency and technological elegance of the Internet,"
EGADS! Technology, efficiency, we can't have those things here in America. I know lets make them state run news organization, that should fix it. What a moron. Senator Kerry (who you will remember served in Vietnam) also said the following: "Will the emerging news media be more fragmented by interests and political partisanship?" he asked. "There also is the important question of whether online journalism will sustain the values of professional journalism, the way the newspaper industry has." "Sustain the values of professional journalism, the way the newspaper industry has." Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, oh God, ha, ha, ha, ha. Sorry let me pick myself up off the floor here and give you the link to this article.
