I really can't believe that these so-called republicans still do not get it, oh wait yes I can. No Governor Bush you are wrong once again. You can learn something by knowing the past. What you do not get Governor is that people talk about the "heyday of the Reagan era" with pride and "nostalgia" because Reagan understood what America was about. By knowing the core conservative values and principles that made this country great you can articulate a message that will get conservatives elected. Don't you understand Governor that Americans are tired of the republicans and the democrats. People are finally starting to wake up and study and reconnect with what they have always known inside, mainly that conservative values (you know the ones like most of the Founding Fathers had) work. You Progressives on the right had your perfect candidate with John McCain and look what happened. Sure he talked a lot about Regan but he was no Reagan and Governor neither are you. When it comes down to it I don't think any of these people; Governor Bush, Governor Romney, Eric Cantor, etc. are true conservatives and that is why the republican party is falling apart. I sure hope Sarah Palin is who she seems to be. She may be the only hope and change we have left at this point. Jeb Bush, GOP: Time to leave Reagan Behind

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Saturday that it's time for the Republican Party to give up its "nostalgia" for the heyday of the Reagan era and look forward, even if it means stealing the winning strategy deployed by Democrats in the 2008 election.
"You can't beat something with nothing, and the other side has something. I don't like it, but they have it, and we have to be respectful and mindful of that," Mr. Bush said.
"So our ideas need to be forward looking and relevant. I felt like there was a lot of nostalgia and the good old days in the [Republican] messaging. I mean, it's great, but it doesn't draw people toward your cause," Mr. Bush said.
